Firstly, I believe that to solve the problem of elevator noise, it is necessary to first confirm where the "sound source" of the elevator noise is. Based on the case analysis of elevator noise interference that we have encountered so far, there are three main sources of noise. Three situations are now introduced as follows:
1、 The noise is mainly emitted by the elevator host and the control cabinet in the machine room
This situation is quite common. In order to achieve perfect design and save public space, developers share a common wall with the owner when designing the elevator machine room, or connect the main wall of the owner's house with the machine room. This situation requires adding a staggered separation during design to avoid noise interference. The elevator noise in this situation mainly consists of two parts: one is the elevator host (the main noise is emitted by the host), where the top floor and walls of the residential room are directly connected to the elevator machine room. When the elevator starts and stops, the elevator host brake opens and closes; The rotation of pulleys and elevators generates significant low-frequency vibration noise, which is transmitted through the walls to the owners' homes on the top or second floor; The second is the elevator control cabinet. As the control cabinet is fixed in the floor slab of the machine room and rigidly connected to the wall, the noise caused by contactor engagement and electromagnetic radiation during elevator operation is also transmitted to the owner's room through the floor slab. Here we can know that the noise of elevators is not directly related to the quality of the elevators, but mainly caused by the architectural design of the load-bearing walls in the building's machine room.
Due to the fact that elevator noise is mainly manifested as low to medium frequency vibrations, its main propagation pathway is through vibration type solid sound transmission, and its penetration is strong (usually air is used as the sound medium). Therefore, conventional soundproof panels can only reduce the noise of using air as the transmission medium, and have no effect on reducing the low-frequency noise transmission of elevators. Moreover, in the case of a fixed source of noise and vibration, to completely solve the problem of noise, the only way is to eliminate noise and vibration by controlling the propagation path of noise and vibration.
The above situation can also be controlled by adopting our company's noise reduction solution (by the way, please promote the next advertisement). Regardless of the conditions, you can also control or reduce elevator noise by replacing the elevator with a permanent magnet gearless elevator! At present, there are two main types of mainstream elevator products in the market. The following is an introduction to elevators:
1. Frequency regulation, voltage regulation, speed regulation (also known as 3VF elevator)
Variable frequency elevator applies the principle of variable frequency control, which uses rotary encoder pulse calculation, load detection, etc. to drive the gearbox through the main motor of the elevator to achieve stepless speed control. This type of elevator is currently the mainstream product in the market, but due to the fact that variable frequency speed control requires the elevator's main motor to be controlled through a gearbox to achieve elevator operation, the noise will be higher than that of gearless elevators. (Mainly includes motor rotation and current noise/gearbox operation noise/elevator brake holding and tensioning/frequency converter electromagnetic radiation/control cabinet contactor closing noise)
2. Permanent magnet gearless elevator
The gearless permanent magnet elevator is another revolution in control technology that applies the constant torque characteristics of gearless permanent magnet motors based on the traditional frequency conversion principle. This type of elevator uses the constant torque characteristic of gearless permanent magnet to directly control the operation and traction of the elevator through a permanent magnet motor. Compared with traditional variable frequency speed regulation elevators, gearless elevators reduce the need for gear transmission gearbox devices. And the noise of permanent magnet motors is also lower than that of traditional variable frequency elevator motors (but the noise of elevator control cabinets/elevator brakes will still exist).
You can consult experts in the elevator industry to know that although there may be differences between different series of first-class and second-class elevator brands in China, the difference in "noise" between elevators of the same level will not be too significant. Therefore, what we refer to as replacing the elevator can only be the type of control method used to replace the elevator. From the above information, it can be seen that replacing with a gearless permanent magnet elevator can reduce the transmission noise of the elevator's main motor and gearbox (which are the main "source" of noise), thus reducing the noise "source" transmitted to the owner's home.
2、 It's a problem with the shaft structure. During elevator operation, the main guide rail of the car rubs and transmits sound
The main track of the elevator is fixed on both sides of the door and connected to the wall. Friction and vibration during the sliding stop of the car guide rail will be transmitted to the owner's home through the fixed guide rail and the wall, forming a "sound bridge". If that's the case, how can it be an engineering project!! Because all elevators must have the elevator car fixed to the guide rail for sliding (when we talk about changing the elevator, we mean changing its control method, but the mechanical structure of all elevators is the same), and the size of the elevator shaft is already fixed, developers cannot dismantle the elevator, and it is impossible to rebuild the shaft. There is only one way to handle this situation, as there are currently two types of sliding modes for elevators. Please confirm which sliding mode the elevator in your residential area is using:
1. The elevator car is a sliding mode fixed to the guide rail by a combination of rolling pulleys
If the elevator car in your community is fixed to slide in this way (the car is fixed to the track by three spring rollers), it's really hopeless! I believe no one in the world can save you anymore! Unless the world's technology suddenly accelerates for decades and someone invents a suspended elevator. However, your residential building is only over twenty floors high, so the chance of using this rolling pulley combination is unlikely, as this car design is generally used for high-speed elevators (2 meters per second elevators). This type of elevator has a high cost, and developers are very good at calculating the cost!
2. The elevator car is fixed to the guide rail with U-shaped guide shoes (a type of adhesive) for sliding
If the elevator guide rails slide in this way, then congratulations! You still have a little bit of hope. Changing the fixed sliding mode of the elevator car to a combination of rolling pulleys can greatly reduce the friction noise during the operation of the sand elevator car (because the pulley system is controlled by springs, it can reduce the friction and rigid contact during the operation of the sand elevator). However, due to the different elevator guide rails used for the two sliding methods (the guide rails used for the pulley system are larger), the replacement of the elevator guide rails is required, which is a huge project! It still depends on whether you really shut down the developer!!! And only when there are no issues with the compulsory execution by the developer, do they have the opportunity to make such a big move!
3、 It's a problem with the shaft structure. During elevator operation, the elevator rubs against the main guide rail and transmits sound
The counterweight position of the elevator (a iron frame equipped with iron blocks that match the rated load of the elevator) is located on the front inner wall of the elevator door. One end of the elevator wire rope is the elevator car, used for carrying people, and the other end is the counterweight, used to balance the weight of the car. The elevator counterweight frame is also fixed on both sides of the guide rails for sliding, just like the elevator car (although the guide rails are directly fixed to the front inner wall of the elevator). If that's the case, I don't think you should be able to refer to the car transmission method mentioned above and simply copy it!!!
After writing so much in one breath, just as I regained my breath, I suddenly remembered the "no room elevator" mentioned by Miss Li from Yuefu Jiangnan! If that's really the case, could it be even bigger!!! Because there are two types of non machine room elevators; A、 One is the bottom mounted type (i.e. the elevator host is located at the bottom of the elevator shaft), which currently belongs to brands such as "Hitachi". Your community is affected by high-rise buildings, so this will not be the case; B、 Another type is the overhead type (i.e. the elevator main control is fixed on the top wall of the elevator shaft), which currently belongs to brands such as "Tongli". If your location, like Yuefu Jiangnan, belongs to the B type of non machine room elevator, then there is really only "changing elevators". Add a machine room above the elevator shaft to transform the "non machine room elevator" into a "machine room elevator", which means "finding a suitable home for our elevator; don't let it chatter every day".
The above information is only for reference from the professional and noise transmission aspects of elevators, and may not be very helpful for you to follow up and deal with noise problems! Some are just sincerity or impulse. But I still hope to be helpful to you! No on-site inspection, no right to speak! However, we believe that the noise impact on the main engine of the elevator machine room should be the greatest.
