The installation of elevators in old residential areas is to facilitate the entry and exit of homeowners, especially the elderly. In recent years, several eligible old residential areas in Quanzhou city have been gradually installing elevators. Recently, some buildings in Yungu Community, Fengze District, have also been installing elevators. However, Mr. Ye, the owner, called 96339 to report that the owners of each building call their own construction teams, resulting in different elevators being installed and affecting the overall appearance of the community. He wants to know what regulations the relevant departments have for installing elevators in old residential areas? Is there a unified plan for the appearance of installing elevators? Citizens report that the overall integrity of the community has been damaged due to the elevator construction teams they called for
Yungu Community is an old community. Recently, many buildings in the community have been installing elevators. Some elevators have already been installed and put into use, but Mr. Ye, the owner, discovered a problem from those installed elevators.
Mr. Ye said that the installation of elevators is now decided by each building itself, and as long as the majority of the building's owners agree, the construction team can be called in to install them. But because each building has its own construction team, the appearance of the installed elevators is different. In this way, without unified planning, there are differences in the appearance of the entire community. Yungu Community is a provincial-level demonstration community, and if this continues, the overall appearance of the community will become very unsightly. He wants to know what regulations the relevant departments have for installing elevators, and suggests that they consider the overall unity of the community and plan the installation of elevators uniformly.
The reporter visited and found that there were differences in the appearance of the construction elevator according to the owner's wishes
After receiving Mr. Ye's feedback, the reporter went to Yungu Community and learned that the elevators in the internal buildings of the community have been installed and put into use. Currently, two elevators are being installed. Due to the demand for installing elevators in the community, some elevator companies have directly settled in the community.
When the reporter visited the residential area, he saw that the appearance of the installed elevators did have some differences. The elevators for Building 24 with 2 elevators have been installed and are enclosed. A red roof has been added at the top, and the windows connecting the building's passages are made of glass. The elevator with two elevators in Building 17 has also been put into use. Unlike Building 24 with two elevators, this elevator belongs to the sightseeing type, and stainless steel guardrails and glass windows are installed on both sides of the corridor connecting the elevator to the building.
Buildings 21 and 31 are currently installing elevators with three elevators. Construction bamboo frames are erected outside the elevators, which are wrapped in green protective nets. Several workers are working on the elevators. A construction worker on site told reporters that their company has installed two elevators in Yungu community. The appearance is designed according to the owner's requirements, so there may be slight differences in appearance. However, the internal structure of these elevators is the same, and their performance is the same.
The department replied that there is no regulation on the appearance of elevators, and the industry committee can consider it uniformly
It is reported that not only in Yungu community, but also in many old communities, the appearance of elevators varies due to the fact that the owners automatically lead the construction team to install elevators. So, as its supervisory department, what are the requirements for elevator installation?
The reporter learned that the approval of elevators and other matters are currently delegated to the district level. In response, the reporter interviewed the Natural Resources Bureau of Fengze District. The relevant staff of the bureau told reporters that according to the requirements of the documents issued by the province and the city, there is no unified requirement for the color and appearance of the installed elevators. Moreover, since the installation of elevators for each elevator is applied for separately, the owners seek elevator installation companies and negotiate prices separately. Therefore, currently, without clear regulations on restricting the appearance of elevators, the appearance of elevator installations is decided by the owners themselves.
The staff member told reporters that the installation of elevators in the building is within the community. Although the relevant departments have not explicitly stipulated the uniformity of appearance, it is suggested that the community's property committee can consider the overall appearance of the community and combine it with the existing appearance of the community to develop a similar style. This way, the community will also look more unified.
