At Sumitomo Fuji Elevator, safety production is being emphasized day by day. Today, we will continue to organize employees to carry out fire extinguishing, evacuation and evacuation drills, in order to prevent accidents and enable them to master solid fire safety knowledge.


The drill simulates a fire in a certain workshop. When the emergency fire alarm rings, the well-trained employees quickly and orderly evacuate the fire scene, safely reaching the assembly point. The entire process only takes 2 minutes.


The security team leader explains to employees how to avoid fires, how to self rescue and escape in the event of a fire, and precautions related to fire emergency response. They also explain how to distinguish and use dry powder fire extinguishers. Subsequently, everyone personally experienced the operation and use of fire extinguishers and carried out on-site firefighting.


The use of dry powder fire extinguishers

Firstly, check whether the fire extinguisher is within the normal working pressure range;

2. Invert the fire extinguisher several times to loosen the dry powder inside;

3. Remove the insurance pin;

4. After pulling off the safety pin, hold the handle with one hand and the spray nozzle with the other hand, and place the fire extinguisher vertically. When the pressure handle is pressed hard, dry powder will spray out from the nozzle.


When spraying, stand upwind and aim at the base of the flame.
