The 16 buttons of the Otis Elevator Service Debugger are divided into two parts:
The four parts on the left are:
MODULE 、 FUNCTION、 SET 、 Blue key
1: MODULE returns to the main menu of the service tool anywhere in the service tool software.
2: Function returns to the installation and maintenance function menu at any position in the system for selecting the system.
3: SET returns to the project menu at any position in the function for selecting installation and maintenance functions.
4: The blue key is equivalent to the up shift key SHIFT on a computer keyboard (the white part of the button functions when the blue key is not pressed, and the blue part of the button functions when the blue key is pressed). When the blue key is pressed, you will see a flashing light at the first character position of the debugger's display, indicating that the blue key function is effective. When you press the corresponding function key, this flashing cursor will disappear.

The function of this blue key and the twelve buttons on the right is the same as the principle on a computer keyboard. The blue key is equivalent to the up shift key SHIFT on the computer keyboard.

Server usage:
After inserting the server into the interface of the Otis elevator board, the ST display will first display the words: SELF TEST - OKMECS-MODE.
The meaning here is: The server self-test has passed, and the current connection is in modular elevator control system mode. This display is normal. If other words appear, please unplug the debugger and reinsert it in the experiment. If the problem cannot be solved, it may be due to a malfunction in the debugger or elevator components.
