1、 The concept of slides and sliding layers
Elevator slide: The so-called "slide" and "sliding layer" refer to the self-protection of an elevator after a malfunction. When the elevator operates normally, the control system will close the door and start the elevator. When the elevator stops at the station, the acceleration and deceleration are controlled within the physiological acceptable range of passengers, and it will not cause discomfort. However, if the control system detects a malfunction or abnormal signal, it will immediately issue an emergency stop command, and then drive the system to immediately slow down or stop the normally running elevator. Because this kind of emergency deceleration or stop is carried out in an emergency state, most passengers cannot directly observe the relative position and speed of the elevator inside the car, resulting in abnormal speed changes and obvious discomfort for passengers inside the car, leading to the illusion of "elevator slide" and "weightlessness". In addition, after a malfunction, the floor inside the car may display abnormalities. Therefore, passengers firmly believe in "elevator fall".
2、 Neither the slide nor the sliding layer will cause harm to passengers
After a malfunction or signal abnormality occurs, a normally operating elevator will cancel the originally registered floor signal and replace it with instructions such as deceleration, stop, or automatic correction of operation.
The elevator will suddenly slow down and stop, and the elevator control system will perform a self check. After the general fault is automatically resolved, the elevator will run at a relatively slow speed to the level position of the nearby floor or to the base station (usually located on the first floor of the building) for position correction, just like a computer restart, then automatically open the door, release passengers, and the elevator enters standby mode.
If the abnormal signal of the malfunction cannot be automatically eliminated, it will cause passengers to be trapped in the elevator. There is no need to panic at this time. The elevator braking system will firmly control the elevator car, protect the safety of passengers and equipment themselves, and prevent so-called falls. Under normal circumstances, the so-called "slide" phenomenon does not cause harm to passengers.
Safety instructions for taking elevators
3、 The causes and preventive measures of slides and sliding layers
1. The landing door or car door may be collided or manually scraped during use, and there may be foreign objects such as plastic bags hanging on the door lock in the shaft, causing the car to instantly open the door lock during operation, or the gap between the relevant components of the door system may not be adjusted properly during maintenance, resulting in the interruption of the door electrical interlocking device during elevator operation.
Suggestion: When riding on the elevator, avoid collisions with the elevator door caused by body or objects, or manually pry the door. Do not throw garbage and debris into the shaft from the gap between the elevator car and the landing door sill. Jumping and other behaviors are prohibited inside the elevator car.
2. During the renovation period, poor electrical contact caused by debris and dust, door jamming caused by foreign objects in the sill slide, abnormal power supply, etc. can all cause elevator stoppage during operation.
Suggestion: Standardized management and civilized use of elevators by users.
3. The damage to the elevator button motherboard causes conflicts or interference with floor registration signals.
Suggestion: When selecting a floor, lightly press the floor or direction button that needs to be reached, especially educating children not to press all the elevator floor buttons because of playfulness to avoid misjudgment by the elevator control system.
4. The leveling sensor cannot sense the position of the elevator car, or detects that the elevator car position does not match the preset position, resulting in a phenomenon of misalignment.
